Dear Hornets Fans,
Thank you for all the support over the past two seasons. I’ve really enjoyed my time as a Hornet and will always look back on this opportunity with gratitude. The fans, the staff and my teammates have been amazing and I’m grateful to the organization and coaches for giving me a meaningful and well-defined role. Knowing that the people around you have your back and want to put you in a position to succeed makes all the difference. I hope that showed in my play this season. I just wish we could have stayed healthy and won some more games together.
The center spot is in good hands in Charlotte. Mark and Nick, it’s your time to go out and crush it. It was a privilege going to battle with you in practice every day. You made me better and hopefully, I did the same for you.
I love North Carolina and it’ll always be one of the places I consider home. When me and my brothers came from Indiana to Christ School, I never could have imagined I’d spend my high school and college years here and then return as a pro. One of the beautiful things about basketball is the journey that it takes you on and the great people you meet along the way. I’ve met a lot of those people here in North Carolina.
Clippers fans, I can’t wait to get on the floor and help the team compete for a championship. Anyone who knows me knows that when it comes to basketball, winning is the only thing that matters. You’ll always get my best.
Thanks, again for everything.
